Much better than liquid

I tried to switch to products with better packaging for the environment. Less plastic, less bulky bottles, more paper packaging etc and they fit the bill. Even better, they work great! I use tea towels I've knitted (granny squares), just rub with soap and rinse! They are excellent for this type of use. This probably isn't the best option if you want to fill the sink with water/soap, but it might work. We use bar soap throughout the house and this is no different. I love the packaging, I love the scent (nice, light and refreshing - not overpowering at all). It also works well with grease, provided you have a good soapy kitchen towel. One review said the family walked bars very quickly. This can happen if you use it frequently and don't wash a lot of dishes with it. Then it can be wasted. So ultimately it's subjective how you use it and how much. If you're the type to use half the bar to get your clothes wet then just wash a few plates. Then yes, it won't be long now. Or I think the other reviewer had quite a large family and did a lot of washing up. So yes, he would have had to go through a lot too. But would probably go through a lot with liquid dish soap! We still use our high capacity dishwasher but for hand washing dishes - love it!
