A good PC will run games just fine with 8GB of RAM already installed. I switched from HDD to SDD because the boot process was VERY SLOW, probably because the HDD wasn't very high quality. If you can just install SDD, transfer all your files there and your computer will be perfect. All in all, this is probably the best PC HP has made. They just decided to save on the hard drive and install something that takes longer to transfer my files to my SSD than my wifi speed. Overall it's a good computer for office and gaming. But an HDD sucks, and if you're impatient and don't want to wait 10 minutes for the login screen to appear, install or add an SSD (I promise you'll thank me for that).
