I place the comforter on the bed with the label on the bottom left. (I was facing the bed.) However, I turned the comforter so that the attached tag was on the bottom right side of my bed, and I preferred it to fit that way. Judging by the picture it doesn't matter. When it comes down to it, don't tell my bad eyes. Lol I have a big bed with 11 inch pockets. Bed on risers and spring block. I have shown both sides of the bed in the photos so you can get an idea of how far off the floor it is. This duvet is thicker than I expected. It's way better than the one I'm replacing! Very happy with this blanket. I was hesitant to buy it based on some of the reviews but my eyes have continued to be drawn to it. I'm so glad I bought it.
