My first purchase was not very satisfactory and I gave it 3 stars. The seller sent me their new, more fragrant version of sandalwood essential oil without my prompting, and I have to say that this is a definite improvement. I just put a drop or two on my wrist and after an hour I can still smell it. The essential oil has a deeper and richer base than other sandalwood essential oils. It's also easy to distribute. I LOVE the smell of sandalwood. I usually mix it with unscented lotions and use it to moisturize and perfume my skin. I always get compliments like "You always smell so good!" (My sister) Even a compliment from the person sitting next to me in the doctor's office who asked me what I was wearing. His girlfriend had just started EO so he wanted to know. Because of the strong scent, you don't have to apply much. And it's very economical. I will buy again. Update 08/13/20: I've bought this many times and love the smell. I don't know what others mean when they say it doesn't smell like sandalwood! THIS is sandalwood. And it comes protected in a hard cardboard gift box as shown in my photo. The beautiful scent lasts a long time.
