Smaller than expected

cable only 2.25mm thick. When I put it next to my 4mm cable it looks tiny. Also, the roll wasn't exactly 400 yards long. I dye my line and this line doesn't hold the color like the others I use. There are parts of it that don't absorb any color at all and I don't know why, but it makes it difficult to use on multicolored items.
