This is the perfect little USB powered speaker I was looking for. I wanted something that was relatively small for my desk, bright, had decent sound quality, and was reasonably priced. I like its design, it's simple and thin, very easy to use. There is a cable that branches to USB and a headphone jack that you can easily plug into your laptop. Love the fact that there is no extra battery cable to plug into an outlet. The speaker is fully powered by your laptop or computer. There is also a button on the right side of the speaker to turn it on and adjust the volume. Then there is a button on the back to turn the light on and off. This way you can leave the speaker on and connected and turn off the light if you want. The lights only have one setting, so they change color slowly. You can't really stop the light on one color, but I didn't mind testing the film's audio via iTunes and Youtube music. It's actually pretty decent for the price, it's definitely not Bose quality or anything, but this speaker is $30 vs $300. I'm definitely happy with the overall quality of this speaker for what I paid!
