Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Dakine Syncline 12L Hydration Pack Black: Optimal Size and Efficiency by Daniel Evans

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a bad bag, not for the cold

The bag works great until the temp is below freezing or cold which makes it virtually useless for skiing or snowboarding. The % freezes, rendering the pack useless until the host thaws or you remove the bladder and drink straight from there. Whatever you do, don't repeat my mistake and try to bite off the ice in the rubber mouthpiece to break it. up and get the water flowing again. The rubber around the mouthpiece is incredibly thin and you'll just bite through it. After that, you're left with a leaking hose and a useless backpack like mine. All in all a great backpack of this size for warmer climates. 0/10 for skiing or snowboarding, but not recommended for this purpose.
