Plastic broke after replacing refills multiple times.

I watched their instruction video on how to switch the rolls out, even rinsing the plastic parts with warm water and soap to prevent buildup. Refilled it multiple times with Metkix brand refills with no problems for over a year. And then a plastic piece broke! The whole roller is not functional anymore (it cant actually /roll/ now) so now I'm stuck with extra refills that don't fit any other roller, and i refuse to buy the whole product again. [The product did worked really well before it broke.]
