We're military and move every two years. We're currently in Hawaii and will be moving within a year back to the Mainland.that will be move 11 for us. Over the years, I have learned ALL THE TRICKS, and giant zip-lock bags are indispensable during a move.After cleaning out every closet and drawer, items go into large zip-lock bags to make things easier for not just me on the other side, but also the movers. The contents of every nightstand drawer, end table drawer, my kids individual toy cubbies, closets, etc. all go into large bags and labeled so I know where they came from. That way, in the new house, I can easily identify all the contents of my nightstand, of the chaise-side end table in the living room. All my sons millions of toys and tiny lego pieces are bagged up and labeled, so the movers won't lose any pieces when they toss them into boxes. Small kitchen utensils can all stay together instead of being randomly tossed into boxes. Remote controls and, most importantly electronics cords.all labeled and kept together. I'm telling you.BEST trick I ever learned.These are some of the biggest bags I've come across and will be perfect for our next move. Even better than my usual gallon size zip-lock bags. I am very happy with these, and looking forward to using them whenever the Navy decides to let me off of this rock.
