ATTENTION! Although this is a good and reliable guide, the part that touches the wood has a very sharp burr edge. After grinding about 80 feet of cherries, I noticed a slight scratch down the length of my pieces. It took quite a bit of sanding to remove. Like many Dewalt products lately, the design is excellent but the quality control leaves something to be desired. It's sad to see a good company get sloppy in this regard. Overall I think this is a good edge guide but make sure you file the sharp edge before using it.
