Review on ๐Ÿฅง Mud Pie Marble Holder with Collection Design by Darryel Tokarczyk

Doesn't match the mud pie glass know-how.

I always read reviews - except this time. I would like to have. This does not match my other Mud Pie items. An ugly dark handle is attached to a dirty looking jet black pole. Whoever designed it to match the shiny Mud Pie CLEAR glass handles on their bronze bases was crazy! I saw it was part of a collection I love and ordered without reading how disappointed other buyers were. The base, which I thought must be ceramic, turned out to be very heavy marble. I suppose ripping off the paper towel helps keep it steady, but I needed something I could store under the sink and just put on the counter to use. I will lift weights every time. I don't like the pen either. must be unscrewed at each roll change. It comes off easily enough, but screwing it back onto the small screw is a little tricky. My fingers aren't that nimble. I wonder how many tries it will take to center the knob on the screw before it wears down the threads to the point where it won't hold at all. There is no nut to attach the bar to the base, so it's also debatable whether this connection will last long. In summary, this holder is ugly, clunky and potentially wobbly. It was packaged well in a small box, but then that box was shipped in an empty large box so it could just rattle in there. Why? Don't buy this if you want some pretty mud pie in your kitchen. I hide it under the sink and use it from there. It's so ugly!
