Review on Cordless drill driver Makita DF330DWE by Jnis Muinieks ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

Excellent model for simple tasks, drill, screw. I have been using it moderately in everyday life for more than 7 years, I bought it in 2022. Thousands and thousands of self-tapping screws are twisted, countless holes are drilled. One battery died, the original of which is quite expensive, I will take the Chinese counterpart. Taking into account the fact that the service life of 5 years, it justified itself, but it could have been longer. An American instrument lasts 10-20 years. I want to buy a new Shurik, probably with a bigger battery.

Pros
  • Comfortable in the hand, light, solid and high-quality materials, feels like a good thing. For personal use in the home, that's it. The battery charges quickly and lasts a long time. Holds a charge when lying idle. There is a backlight, which is a plus. Drills wood well, mounted locks in interior doors, drilled with a 16 mm pen. Drills tiles well, depends on the drill. I tried porcelain stoneware, but it didn’t work out, you need a special carbide or diamond drill. Drills plaster and aerated concrete easily, all curtains and cabinets hung only with a screwdriver. Concrete does not take, here you need a percussion hammer. The brick also takes weakly, a blow is needed. Metal drills, but weakly. With a sufficient charge, it twists the screws perfectly, it is easy in pine, it is more difficult in oak. Drywall to the profile without problems. For heavier tasks did not use. Although I heard that some people knead tile glue or a self-leveling floor mixture with a screwdriver, but there should be more power there.
Cons
  • After 7 years of use, one battery grunted, stopped charging. The screwdriver itself stopped turning at one point, this is after 7 years. Thought it was all - leaned back. Dismantled, turned, twisted, blew dust particles, earned again, although the speeds now switch without sound.
