Lead removal is key
This 4 stage filter is designed to remove lead from water. Rinse the tap water for 10-15 seconds as recommended, add filtered water and boil. Here in San Francisco lead in the water and asbestos. Why? My friend works in construction laying water pipes and has seen other contractors leave chunks of concrete in the water pipes. These concrete slabs contain asbestos, which dissolves in underground water pipes throughout the city. "Anyway, the filter traps the harmful chemicals that have been making me sick because the tap water is no longer safe to drink. Got it!
