I purchased a new Subaru Forester and noticed (on the first day) that the console already had what looked like a wear mark on the corner. I was searching for other car related products on Walmart when I came across this cover. It was a good price and seems to be a good solution to avoiding any additional wear and tear on the car. It was easy to install and the console is still able to close with the cover in place. So far, I am very happy with the cover, except that the fabric shows every smudge, mark, etc. As long as it can actually be washed (haven't tried it yet), this was definitley a great purchase.
