I have used several hand pump grease guns and this is by far my favorite. It was very easy to download and even easier to use. The pressure relief valve tends to leak a little if you leave it with the butt up, but nothing excessive for a reasonably affordable gun. I have one with Redline lube and one with Protan Super lube. Redline is very easy to pump but Prothane is much thicker and much harder to pump but it has nothing to do with a gun it's just the thickness of the fat. The lock on the handle is plastic and works, it also holds the pipe fairly tightly as it bounced around the bed of my truck with the pipe still in the holder. I want something reliable and working. I only gave it 5 stars because on the second block I bought the piston wouldn't stay in the extended locking position and slowly slid down. I held it with just my feet as I assembled the block with the grease tube installed. Update 11/12/18 - Downgraded to 2 stars, one of which no longer works - the piston has punched through the lube and now I've lubricated both sides of the stopper with no pressure build up. Had to throw it away because there was too much chaos to figure out what went wrong. There was also a new tube of lube. With all the recent negative reviews I will now switch to a new brand. I only used this twice before it stopped working and leaked lube.
