Review on Kensington K64994AM MicroSaver Ultra Thin Security by Mike Goodwin

I bought this item because it includes Kensignton's "K-Slot Laptop Adapter without Security Slot". My new MacBook Pro is my cash register in my shop. It does not have a security slot and is therefore vulnerable to theft. The Kensington MicroSaver Ultrabook Key Lock with Security Slot Adapter (K64994AM) seemed like the perfect solution. I installed the K-Slot adapter using the included alcohol wipes to clean the surface and the included super glue to attach the sticky pad between the adapter and the top of my laptop. I let it dry for a day, then I attached it and started using the cable lock. A week later, the tablet suddenly just came loose from the weight of the cable and fell on the desk. Half of the adhesive pad is now on the adapter and the other half is on the lid of my laptop. Useless! Yes all other parts are excellent quality and I recommend everything EXCEPT if you need to use the K-Slot adapter. Now I have an unprotected $3,000 MacBook again.
