mount still works great. I got each of our 3 kids 1 and they fought for them until I could build everything so they could ride. Also, now I can safely ride the hoverboard without worrying about stepping on it. It works great on smooth surfaces. Our house isn't that big, but even with three karts on the hoverboard, we still had fun running around the house. It took kids about 5 minutes to learn to operate it with more confidence and now they are wide open. If you have smooth surfaces and enough floor space, they can be used in your home, but some door frame corners and doorstops will inevitably break. The shorter you make the kart the better your turning ability will be and we can turn it in a standard width corridor. I'm 5ft 11" and cycled all over the house with no problems. I like it just like the kids. Great idea and product implementation. It is fully adjustable to fit different hoverboards. We have two Hover 1 and another brand. It works the same for other brands. The handlebar mount that attaches to the hoverboard is 17 inches wide. So if you are under 17 inch it will not work. But it seems like the industry standard is broader, so from what I've seen it shouldn't be a problem. I wasn't so sure that only Velcro fasteners hold everything together. We didn't experience any problems or wobbles on the hoverboard on smooth surfaces. It's velcro, it works! I've seen a broken toe very easily because kids want to ride barefoot. So I warned her not to bend her toes over the footrest and extend them past the front bar. When driven properly, it acts like a bumper, but I still see that an accident is imminent. So I keep reminding them to drive safely and correctly. Watch your fingers! Even innocent passers-by without shoes should be on their guard. I don't want my toes getting under something like that. Also, the hoverboard is now manually controlled and works like a zero-turn lawn mower. The first 5 minutes were a learning curve. They lowered their legs, tried to stop, and grabbed things. Just keep your legs and arms where they should be and move very slowly at first. However, it didn't take long for them to figure out how to deal with it. This toy was definitely used the most.
