.:2005 Mazda3 homologated - albeit with an added disappointment:. I bought this to accompany a Razo accelerator as it would be odd not to have one and I wanted good heel to toe feel with both this brake and its accelerator. Preferably. Solution. je. You can read my gas pedal review to see what I like about the heel-toe, I won't repeat it over and over again. The important things first. This is the right thickness and height for me. I LOVE how my foot feels on it, the surface is perfect. It's definitely bigger than a standard pedal, almost twice the size, just what I wanted. One thing I forgot to mention about the gas pedal is that these pedals are grippy. Your leg isn't going anywhere! Now for the installation. Give yourself SPACE when installing this pedal and do it in the morning/early afternoon when you have nothing else to do and it's light outside. Depending on the vehicle and stock pedal/lever, this can be a breeze or a headache. TAKE YOUR TIME! I had to remove the pedal cover to install it on my Mazda. You may have to do the same, but try a lid first. You want to make sure the tabs are in place, take your time to get it right! I had to take them off a few times to make sure they were in place before tightening them. For us Mazda3/5/6 folks, I bolted on the top bar (instead of leaving it "open" as shown in the picture) and moved the side tabs behind the pedal under the top bar and then pushed them all the way down . I wanted it and THEN rolled it slowly, a few seconds each twist, shifting it up and stopping often to make sure the tab didn't crawl out. what happened in the first 10 minutes of it. It's a cramped space under the wheel and my shoulders weren't too happy about it lol but I'd happily do it again. My pedals sit a bit crooked (you'll see it in the pics when I upload them) but 1) they had to fit properly 2) it works the way my feet sit on the pedal so it was actually a bit strategic 3) This allowed me to tighten them all the way and they would NOT move. The brake pedal can be moved closer to the accelerator, which is good, I'm comfortable with that, but I could play with that. And indeed, the brake pedal feels SO GOOD. Wow that's impressive. This is exactly what I intended! The clutch was easier to install than the brake. Anyway, these are great pedals, very STRONG. So far I've driven over 100 miles in traffic playing cat and mouse and it hasn't moved or anything. It's there and you can take it off if you want. I would highly recommend these pedals to anyone. The only reason not to buy them is if you don't like the look or if you don't want to see your standard pedal underneath (I have good eyesight, I can see it). .I will not look for another set of pedals for the life of this machine. I like to be on my feet. Photos will be available soon.
