Summary Decent external solid state drive. It delivers everything as promised. Computer technology reviewer with over 30 years of experience. Test environment Windows 7-64, SSD reformatted to FAT32, USB 3.0 port, Crystal Disk Mark test software. For your information, the device is formatted at the factory. in exFAT.Pros1. Fast - 321MB/s read; 235 MB/s writing in my tests. In comparison, my Crucial MX500 1TB SSD with USB 3 adapter achieves 276/269 MB/s in the same environment.2. Heatsink - The SSD gets hot, but uses an aluminum case to dissipate the heat.3. Good fit and finish. Disadvantages1. No brand name.2. There is no description what kind of SSD technology is used.3. Higher price per gigabyte compared to larger competitors' SSDs and USB drives. Note, however, that this SSD performs much better than USB sticks. Recommendation: Buy with caution. The product looks good and works well. My reservations relate to an unfamiliar (to me) brand and its lower value proposition compared to other options.
