These sponges are affordable and generally work well, but unlike many competing products they come with all sorts of scratch warnings which makes me a little worried about where I'm putting them use them - and to be quite clear that they cannot be used on stainless steel at all. It's clear that many competing products won't scratch surfaces like stainless steel, non-stick cookware, or glass; They have warnings about testing in "unobtrusive areas" etc that seem designed to cover themselves rather than promise you something about every surface. I would be very careful using them on any surface I want to keep the finish on and I would not have ordered them had I seen the disclaimer first. If you're not worried about scratches, they seem fine.
