Let me start by complimenting the customer service people at this company. The most polite, helpful and pleasant customer service I have ever encountered. I received an email from a CS representative a few days after the item arrived (also earlier) with installation details. Halfway through the installation, I found that the internal mounting screws were too long for my door (1"3/8" thick). So I could not attach the mounting plate to the door (see picture). I alerted the company. who answered me promptly. As a workaround, I bought 2 of the same screws, but 1/2 inch shorter, for a few bucks, and used those instead. They fit perfectly. The screws provided are only for 2" thick doors. If buyers have the same problem, try this. The lock is beautiful, compact and durable. Programming is easy. My previous Kwikset PowerBolt2 died after 2 years. Hopefully this one lasts Locked longer. Time will tell. But I will buy anything from this seller again. They will vouch for their products UPDATED: July 2021 Just bought another one like this. Works perfectly. Much better than my previous half price Kwikset. Highly recommended.
