I've experimented with at least half a dozen different cellphone holders in various configurations: window/dashboard suction cups, cup holder mounts, vent mounts, etc...d. even the visor mounts. I saw an ad somewhere for a rear view mirror bracket that was a bit pricey, so I looked to Revain for a similar product. This was exactly the same as the model originally advertised. What struck me with this configuration was that it didn't distract from driving, which is a major safety issue for me. You should still check your mirror So why not check the navigation straight away? Received the device very quickly and installed it on my mirror. It required a bit of effort and tweaking, but nothing special and the mount was ready to go. My iPhone 11 Pro with protective case fits like a glove and there is still some room on the clips for expansion. Can't confirm durability yet, but this unit looks sturdy and well built/constructed. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong with this mount. One caveat I should mention: always check the thickness of your rearview mirror; Some cars have much thicker mirror housings than usual, maybe to house electronics or something. If this is your vehicle, this bracket may not fit. If in doubt, always take measurements and save time and nerves.
