I am a baker and discovered these silicone strainers many years ago. When using the bottom shelf of the oven, I often hit the top shelf and burn my hand or wrist. These silicone screens completely solve this problem. I found the length to be just right as I just position them to cover the center of the racks, the area I encounter when removing or adjusting baked goods. However, after using them I have found that after a few years they become soft and flexible and no longer stay wrapped around the edges of the posts. Assuming they don't last forever, buying a set of six is a relief and a steal. If you use the oven often, they are a must.
