Firstly although this is my second set of LED bulbs since replacing the standard halogens I'm still a bit dizzy at how old the update is took my face off aging car. Yes, improved visibility is good. But it's also nice that the improved visibility comes with less embarrassment of driving with brown headlights while seemingly everyone else on the road is rocking super-slim bright white headlights. Anyway, the LED upgrade in general pushed back the look of my car by about five years. If, like me, you're feeling a little insecure about the look of your car's eyes, take the plunge! As for these particular lights, it's hard to be happier. Installation was an absolute breeze, even if it wasn't my second exchange in a year. From opening the box to complete installation took no more than ten minutes. I'm sure this time can vary wildly depending on how easy it is to install on your particular vehicle, but the headlights themselves certainly don't add to the installation process. It's as simple as press, twist, plug in and go. Unlike some of the much older LED replacements I remember helping my friends install in their cars years ago, these lights come on instantly rather than slowly popping, flickering and turning on. Which is good, unless of course you're looking for such an effect. Its beam is continuous, even for each light source and balanced. I mentioned that they replaced a new set of other LEDs. The previous set died from overheating. Outside temperatures in excess of 70 degrees Fahrenheit initially caused the last set to flicker, which virtually ruled out daytime use for most of the year in my home state of Florida. This completely dissolved them. On the plus side, this set has both a fan and an aluminum heatsink which has so far prevented flickering in outside temperatures above the mid 80's. It's going to be hot in here soon and if they prove heat sensitive in warmer conditions I'll come back to update this review with the thresholds I see. For now, though, I'm very happy with them. They work great, look great and are easy to install.
