Review on Tecsun PL398MP DSP Digital AM/FM/LW Shortwave Radio: Dual Speakers & MP3 Player, Black - The Ultimate Audio Solution by Douglas Coronado

I have been buying and listening to shortwave radios for many years. This little beauty is definitely one of the best - and best value for money - I've ever bought. Price aside, what attracted me was the ETM feature, which makes the radio ideal for travel. This feature scans a new area and stores all stations with the correct signal without interfering with the home stations already stored. It does this in seconds and is very accurate indeed. I can't say anything about shortwave reception yet as I live in New York and have no reception. AM and FM are great and tuning is smooth and easy whichever method (and there are several) you choose. Quite unusually intuitive controls. Large size, decent stereo sound, radio feels very solid. It appears to be well made and of good quality. As I said, this is easily one of the highest quality radios out there.
