eSATA not working (UPDATE: working)

When I received it, it was working intermittently. In fact, it stopped completely after 30 days. Although USB still works. But then again, I didn't buy this for a USB connection. UPDATE: Upgrade to 4 stars. Doc works. The problem was with the user. I cloned the hard drive in the dock and let Acronis shut down the computer automatically. After that, the computer no longer saw the hard drive. It took 4 days but finally I realized that Windows 7 does not automatically assign a drive letter to the newly cloned drive. Manually assigned a drive letter and everything is fine. The product still gets no star due to a design flaw. The dock has a large metal plate that gives it weight and stability. It is attached to the bottom panel with two small screws. The weight of the plate ripped the tiny screws out of their mounts fairly easily in transit. I received this item with this metal plate pushed into the dock. Fortunately, the electronics were not damaged. I opened up the dock and taped the panel in place. Now everything is in order. This panel should be held in place with epoxy or double sided tape, not tiny screws.
