Review on ๐ŸŽฎ CYBER ยท grip rubber coating (for Nintendo 3DS LL) by Dakota Afzalian

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A must for any 3DS XL owner with hand cramps

The 3DS XL has benefited greatly from a larger screen than its smaller 3DS counterpart. However, due to its size, I often had cramps or sore hands, especially when playing with button presses. At the time I was playing SSB4 on my 3DS XL and could barely play more than 5 games before getting cramps. Now I have the full version and I can play endless matches without any problems. I would recommend this grip to anyone buying an SSB4 for a 3DS. Pros and Cons: + No more hand cramps (MOST IMPORTANT) + Holds up to 2 game cartridges + Looks and feels smooth thanks to the rubber material + 3DS XL fits snugly - Stylus is locked - Front clip breaks easily - Plastic Cassette door is difficult to open - Impossible to carry a pen in your pocket. Experience From other comments: *Regarding the plastic door, it is difficult to open. Nonetheless, he cuts a fine figure. I've spent dozens of hours in the SSB4 demo and full game and it hasn't shown any signs of breaking. *Regarding the clip, my clip broke a few days after arrival. The level of comfort is almost unreal though, luckily the clip has come loose and the 3DS won't fall out of your hand unless you shake it hard *The release button issue shouldn't be a problem for most. For most people, you simply place your ring finger on the handle's pivot point. This is similar to the L and R buttons on the WiiU tablet if you place your fingers on the ZL and ZR buttons. * Yes, the handle may seem expensive. However, having held the handle and plastic grip, I can say with confidence that I have no regrets about this purchase until one that is as comfortable is made. I have to say that this is one of the best video game accessories I've ever bought.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Annoyed
