In general, the story of the few, but it has a place to be! Bought about a year ago. It lay gathering dust, the check, accordingly, was not preserved, and since discs and other accessories were taken at one time at different points . in general, with a guarantee of shvank . 1st inclusion, norms, the system saw the disk and offered to drive it into GPT, refused. there was no time to wait, I decided to drive it the next day, and I also wanted to run it for any test for bads, so that it would not be a pity to have an archive later . 4TB no matter how . 2nd power-up - the BIOS sees the disk - the OS is loading - the disk is not visible in the system (Management, Storage Devices, Disk Management), while the disk works without visible (audio) noise . 3rd I play it safe, decide to reboot, reboot - the disk is no longer detected in the BIOS . not to mention the system (W7) . After a couple of reboots, the disk was seen in BIOS . but then happily disappeared until the operating system was loaded . When installed in an external SATA basket, it gnashes for a long time . creaks diligently . goes into shutdown . apparently parking . now it's ticking like a clock ;) but the time doesn't show. then again we creak. and fall asleep.
