After a couple of reboots, the disk was seen in BIOS . but then happily disappeared until the operating system was loaded . When installed in an external SATA basket, it gnashes for a long time . creaks diligently . goes into shutdown . apparently parking . now it's ticking like a clock ;) but the time doesn't show. then again we creak. and fall asleep.
