Not real leather but a very good fake! Very happy with it. Stretchy smells like mothballs and still outgassing after 2 weeks. Size large, average size - not thin, not very wide. The gold clasp has a pink tint so it looks a little cheap but not too flashy. I have a 27 inch waist and the elastic fits well, not too tight, not too loose. I leave it because it looks good enough for an inexpensive belt and the faux leather looks great. I don't leave anything behind that looks cheap (I taste champagne on a beer budget). It completes the look very well. More good points than bad (this is a correction to my first review when I thought the leather was genuine).
