I bought this product to play Wii games on my Wii U and it's fantastic! The connection between the Wii remote and the GameCube controller is stable and rarely breaks. However, there are two things I would like to emphasize. First, there's a half to a full second delay when pressing the start button on the GameCube controller, but that's the only issue I can find with the controls. Secondly, third-party Wii Remotes are not recommended for this product because the connection between the two controllers causes many input-reading problems (jumping left all the time, reading single-button inputs as multi-button inputs, not reading inputs etc. ). I don't know about third party GameCube controllers, but I think the main problem is with the Wii remotes. Otherwise the product is great! I'm giving it five stars because they're designed to work with official Wii remotes. My apologies if this review is questionable by some.
