I would like to start by saying that I have never regretted buying this trampoline. We've had him for almost a year so I'll tell you about the good and the bad. What's good: It's such a popular everyday item in my house that it lives in the living room. Between a six-year-old and his group of friends and a one-year-old, someone always jumps. I bought it for my son's first birthday. I know. Not recommended age. However, he is, as the saying goes, "quite a boy" and he hasn't had any adjustment problems. At first he just jumped and jumped (hysterically I think), now at 19 months he's taking a deep breath and is a jumping machine. From time to time (once or twice a day) he moves his embroidered chair and jumps from trampoline to chair. me that I work. Bad: I can't even say bad in fairness. This thing is used and abused. These are a trampoline, a fortress, a gymnastics vault, a dog bed and much more. One of the ligaments holding the protective lining had snapped. The upholstery is holding up fairly well but needs to be adjusted from time to time. Maybe I could come up with that again, but who has time for that? I kept it in case the padding started to slip. Also, the handle is very loose and needs to be tightened often. This may be because it doubles as a climbing frame. The little guy loves to hang on and swing around. Finally, and perhaps the only issue that gets my heart racing a little, is that if I push the bar too hard on aggressive jumps, my back will lift off the ground. Physics is not my forte but I can say this is only an issue when the baby is jumping and has only recently started to do so I believe it is a question of his size/angle on the bar at any given time is. I also think he's doing it on purpose. His sister is 44 inches tall and jumps harder but never lifted her feet off the ground. He hasn't managed to flip it yet, but one day he will, and it's not a defective product, it's a kid's a kid. This was a fantastic purchase and I will keep buying it. It's nice to have a favorite toy at home that offers healthy exercise, stimulates the imagination and doesn't require batteries.
