You get what you pay for.
First, it works, but with a few caveats: when I plugged my Fire Stick into this thing, it got really hot and I kept getting pop-up messages on the screen letting me know. When I used the small HDMI extender that came with the Fire Stick, it didn't get as hot and I didn't get this message anymore. Second, it started flashing after a few minutes and then went off. I can reconnect it but it randomly does it again. Sometimes it runs for 30 minutes and other times it only stays connected for about a minute.
