I love these socks and here's why: My son had a stroke during childbirth, he has cerebral palsy with left hemiparesis. Because of this, he tiptoes (the foot hangs down). I've tried over 10 sock brands and styles but they severely lacked any non-slip pieces in the toe box, resulting in many slips and falls on our renovated hardwood floors. These socks have a non-slip surface on the sole and toe, and he never slipped with it. I can recommend them and would buy them again and again! **Update: Unfortunately, after just one use, one of the socks ripped at the big toe. I'm not sure if we had a bad couple or what exactly happened. This was only his 3rd pair he has used and the other 2 pairs were fine after first use.
