Let's get the one (small) flaw out of the way first. I only have one small complaint about this adapter (which does not have a return guarantee as it is perfect in every other way) - I need a thin blade or knife to remove it, although the description says no tools are required to remove it becomes. I don't plan on removing the adapter often though - I've always wanted to use it as semi-permanent extra storage for my Surface Book 3 - but it's worth noting that the only way you can pull it out with your fingers is if you have big nails. You need to put the blade in a small groove. on the top, and then pull out the adapter. Also, the adapter is perfect for my needs! Externally, it matches the color of my Surface Book 3. Even after it's glued in place, nothing sticks out of my laptop (it's flush with the edge). However, you must be careful how you insert the microSD into the adapter and the adapter into your laptop. There were no instructions. about all of this, which is why I used the standard SD card rule of thumb - connectors are always plugged in face down - and this applies to both micro SD to adapter and adapter to laptop. I have attached photos of what I think would be useful to see.
