I'm not the type to write reviews but I think I should because there are so many reviews that these speakers have low ratings give up because they say they don't have bass. First, you don't buy 6x9 for bass, you need an amp and a subwoofer for that. But for people who say they don't have bass, you're better off either getting your hearing checked, changing the song, buying a new radio, or fixing the wires that messed you up. Because for $35 you won't find a better sounding speaker. crisp highs, great mids and great lows (bass) for the 6x9. Put the right song on this 6x9 and your brain will explode with bass. and mine isn't even hooked up to an amp, just a decent head unit. Yes, these aren't trendy expensive speakers, but Kenwood has been in the game for a long time and knows what it's doing. best budget speakers you will find. 100%
