Review on ASUS XG248Q 23.8" Adaptive Esports Monitor - Full HD 1920x1080, 240Hz, Blue Color, Flicker-Free, Adaptive Sync Support by Rene Bowman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The monitor works well, but everything else is form, not function.

I've had the monitor for about a month now and it works with no problems; However, the stand having three legs instead of the usual square base is annoying, to say the least. If you don't plan on staring at the screen all day, you should probably mount a monitor, since the aforementioned tripod stand makes it impossible to lift the stand itself. This is not an easy task with this monitor as the mounting holes are hidden in a plastic circle (see image). This means that most standard monitor mounts are not suitable. As a result, I had to buy extra long screws to make it work in a roundabout way. It's also very awkward to reach the ports on the back. TLDR: The monitor itself appears to be of high quality (so far), but other than that it's form over function.
