I had no idea where to start. 24 years old, new apartment, all my life there have been only dogs. I couldn't get a dog so I decided to buy an aquarium as the pet store had aquariums and aquarium supplies for sale. I had no idea where to start and what to take. So I did what any smart person does, I researched what to do with the experts. just a pinpointed instruction on what kind of fish to get or what setup is best. I read the book cover to cover on a trip from Chicago, Illinois to Columbia, South Carolina. After reading it, I felt more confident and started studying what fish exist, what products work with what equipment, and what fish prefer what decor. This book takes you step-by-step through every process of starting up an aquarium, down to the smallest detail. I now have a successful 55 gallon aquarium with about 20 fish. I am very proud of this tank and owe its success to this book! Prices here are the best you'll find, but your local petco, petsmart, or boarder has them if you want to browse for yourself. Before you start knowing what to do and what you are doing is worth every penny. . If you decide to experiment with the aquarium I would advise you to get this book, you will not regret it. Worth every penny!
