Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Rancho RS5118 RS5000 Series Shock: Unleashing Superior Performance and Durability by Benjamin Saric

Revainrating 4 out of 5

NEW STUNTS for parts

Old Ranch (replaced) 142,000 miles on 4WD S-10 (low off-road light) Installed upside down (tire room) and still runs better. Fixed the oversized tire vibration issue, so there was no reason to doubt the correct up or down direction in the fine print. NEVER TRUST ANY CAR MECHANIC, even a good one. The new Rancho has more adapter clips (to fit more car models) BUT the stud spacing was MORE on my car. This is currently not a problem. The ride is still very good even on the NEW HIGH CA Tax road system. The roads are getting as bad as the BQE in New York in the mid 70's. Will I buy them again? Low funds, yes. Relaxed on payday? No. On very bumpy road surfaces they actually feel better with more control than gas charged shocks (had these from Rock Auto. Replaced due to a lug offset mismatch on the same make, model number made in two different countries with the same package. temp. setting). On flat roads the Gabriel HD dampers feel much better and the SUV feels as solid as a sports car. Choose the area and CHOOSE. Or spend a lot more money. NOTE. Before messing around with shocks if you don't want to, check, clean and lube your CV joints if necessary and get new boots. Old mechanic - new tricks.
