🚗 Genuine GMC Acadia/Saturn Outlook 2007-2012 Rear Wiper Arm Blade Set – OEM Style Replacement 15276248 Review

Replaces 2012 Acadia rear wiper arm. The old lever had to be cut off due to rust. The new lever works but doesn't have the knurled interior like the OEM. see photos. This prevents it from spinning. There's also a "wiggle" at the arm hinge that the original never had. If I had to choose again, I wouldn't buy it.

This was the perfect replacement for my 2012 GMC Acadia Denali. I was very happy until my husband "helped" me and pinched the lid, damaging the small rubber hose. It has a hole in it now so I'll see if I can patch it. He has a track inside that he easily fits into. He really made a stupid mistake.

Installed about 13 months ago. For about 6 months, the decorative cover has no longer held in place when washed. (non-contact) and literally 2 weeks ago a hand broke near the base. It's not working at the moment. Ordered another brand as a replacement. I would have expected more than a year from the wiper arm. Definitely bad.

No adapter or instructions included, both items mentioned in other reviews. Also, it won't fit without modifications, making it pointless to buy one that's supposedly specific to the Chevy Malibu. However, judging by other comments, it matches what Chevy sells as an OEM for big bucks, so you're stuck. anyway with this problem.

Works great on an '08 GMC Envoy. The old one was a bit difficult to pull off. I ended up breaking the plastic lever off the splined shaft only to have the splined insert from the lever itself quickly stick to the shaft. I used a grinder to partially cut through the insert being careful not to cut into the shank itself. Then I machined the insert from the shaft. I never clung to the shaft before installing this new one.

Easy to install but removing the attachment point to remove the other blade that came in the box took a lot of effort and a vise to hold it. After installing and tightening the nut, I should have known it wasn't going to work when the wrench rubbed on the plastic and broke off a piece. As soon as I switched the windshield wiper on to test it, it immediately snapped into place at the attachment point. This is still the cheapest way to replace a back knife as you can't just buy a knife.

It was very difficult to remove the standard lever as it was welded to the motor shaft for the past 11 years. Unable to rip off the original arm, I resorted to cutting it off. Cut off all the plastic leaving only the old arm's center metal insert attached to the wiper motor shaft, then use a dremel to carefully cut a groove through the metal insert but not into the wiper motor shaft. We received this to replace our 2006 Malibu Maxx. We were able to get it working (I think) but it had to be modified. The diameter of the part above the shaft was too small. It seems it wasn't actually built for this car, although it says so. We took the spring loaded clasp off our old hand and put it on our new hand and it seems to work. It wasn't that easy. If the manufacturer really made it what is sold it would have been much better.
