I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

Review of the 250J2EA model. This is a typical representative of the new generation of HP mid-price laptops for business users - at least that's how the manufacturer positions them. Durable and presentable aluminum case, IPS screen 400 cd with a fairly wide range of adjustments, all the most modern connectors, adjustable keyboard backlight, physical shutter on the camera, Windows 10 Pro OS and many HP security systems. It belongs to the middle price category, but purely visually it is already…

Pros
  • Metal body, lightweight for a 15" laptop, backlit keyboard, decent Intel Iris Xe graphics card (a major step up from the archaic UHD Graphics), USB-C fast charging, all "gentleman's" set of interfaces, including 4G LTE.
Cons
  • Relatively - this is important! - short battery life. It very much depends. with what to compare. Specifically, in my case, this is one of the top EliteBook 850 G7 models (I also left a review about it). But there is no particular mystery here, a 45 Wh battery is significantly less than 56 Wh in the 800th series, you can’t deceive physics. Probably a small marriage of a particular instance. one of the buttons on the top of the keyboard is a little off, which caused the keyboard backlight LED to shine a little more from under it.
