Guess I'll never know

Was going to install it the next day and my stupid brother from Mexico came home and drove the van and blew the engine. Should know better than to let him guide you. He breaks everything he touches

Worked for 24 hours before the oil pressure switch and solenoid failed

Finally managed to install the item and it worked for about 24 hours. I drove him home from shopping, to church the next morning, and in the evening on the way home from friends he let me down. The "Check Engine" light was flashing and codes were associated with both the solenoid and the oil pressure sensor on the module. This time I'm trying Dorman's product. Hope it goes better this way.

Didn't fit but works

I have a Honda Odyssey 06. According to the description it fits cars. I compared the old solenoid to this new solenoid and they looked the same. When I installed the new solenoid, the oil came out like it wasn't sealed. Upon further examination of the new solenoid, I noticed that the metal pins on it were not tapered at the ends like the original solenoid pins. I believe the slight difference kept it from dragging enough. I then removed all the parts I could from the new solenoid and replaced…
