Tight but well fitted: Filter

Larger notch but after warming up the new 3/16 fuel line in hot water my fuel line slid into place with little effort. I'm honestly glad the mandrel is large which means it won't leak and clamps aren't needed.

Good and cheap for filters

Perfect for stocking all kinds of small engines, motorcycles etc. Good enough quality not to be afraid to put it on my Vulcan 900 and cheap enough to " to throw away" on my daughter's dirty kart.

The plan is to use them to fight the results.

The plan is to use them to combat the effects of ethanol gas in my smaller engines. I was able to install them on some, but motor design and available space was a big issue for others.

Absolute rubbish in filters

Filters didn't do their job so I cut off a few to see what's inside. It's not even a filter, it's just a piece of plastic with a loose lid, a piece of crepe paper floating in it, nothing to isolate particles/dirt from the inlet/outlet sides. Dirty fuel in, dirty fuel out. Garbage.

rust in the filter? great for the fuel system which I'm trying to protect with a filter.

I opened the package and found that there is rust on the inner metal part of the filter, and there is also some kind of coating on the insides. I'm not sure if they were in the tide or what. I am sure that rust and deposits of unknown origin will seriously affect the fuel system.
