I agree with many other recent reviews - what I received is just not what is pictured. This is thick wax paper, not thin parchment (as you might see when holding postage stamps). Therefore they are not as transparent. And the finish is not the same as in the photo. Small round holes are punched at the top and bottom, there is no curve at the top as in the photo and a tightly closed back seam. Completely useless for my purposes.

This was one of the few bags I kept from the wedding. We received them and weren't sure how the surface would hold up to the inking. We were very satisfied with the end result. These little sachets contained a few tablespoons of seeds and were given out to guests at the end of my mother's wedding to bring good luck when the new couple left the church. One thing. Stamp the bags and then let them dry! Then, and only after you're sure they're dry, fold/stuff them for later.

Well, the rest of the reviewers are right. The bags are not at all as advertised. They are larger, heavier and designed for a very different purpose than the tiny glassine pouches previously available in this ad. However, there are some positive qualities. 1) Although thicker, the waxy interior is great for sealing if you have heat shrink tape. Just seal like in a shrink bag. (Just don't try to make it smaller!) 2) The larger size doesn't matter if you're using it to seal a little treasure…
