small problem with one magnet in the the middle (which I believe is the magnet) was always pulled out of its base when opening the door. I was able to glue this back in with gorilla glue and all appears well again. would have given 5/5 stars if this didn't happen. Very pleased.

I was getting so tired of my cabinet door not staying shut and trying multiple things to get it to stay. I live in an apartment, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I thought the adhesive would work well, since using a drill would be frowned on by management. The adhesive did not stay. The magnets were too strong for the adhesive. But I found some Command adhesive that works much better. We'll see how it does over time. If that doesn't work, I'll have to go to plan B to get these to stay…

Great little magnets. Holds door shut.No surprises installing. Had to chisel out where plate attaches to door and had to drill plate out a little deeper for flush screw with plate

Perfect add-on to cabinet that was my staying shut any longer. Go adhesion to closet door and easy to install. Limited holding capacity.

These are small, thin and have a lot of holding power. I wasn't sure if these would stand out and look bad, but they are small enough that it really doesn't bother me. We have older cabinets with a door that has a design, so not easily replaced and one of the doors is starting to warp, so it wouldn't stay shut. These little attachments did the trick!

I had a drawer slide that stopped holding the drawer in a closed position, even after trying all the adjustment that it provided. I had tried flexible stick-on magnets, but they were not strong enough. Found these on Best Buy and gave them a try, and problem solved. I used the provided screws and one set for the drawer. Just the right amount of hold for our application, yet easy to open the drawer. I have not tried the provided adhesive strips.

I purchased this item to help secure a slide-out kitchen trash drawer. I was able to install this easily with the included screws, and the magnet itself is strong enough to secure the drawer without making it difficult to open.The magnets also come with a set of double-sided tape, in case you don't want to drill into the surface.

Used for bathroom cabinet oak door that would not stay closed completely. Easy instillation and opens and closes nicely now. Was skeptical when I installed and thought for sure adhesive side would come off b/c of strength of magnet, but to my surprise stays attached to cabinet. I wish i had known about this product years ago!

I had a ghost drawer in the garage that was annoying me. I used the adhesive that came with this product to attach to cabinet - no issues at all. Some people said it was too hard to open, but I don't notice a change in the effort it takes to open it. Fixed my problem - comes with 2 sets, so ready for anymore ghosts!

Well, they work. BUT they don’t stick correctly. Magnet is a bit too strong and both pieces end up attached to each other. I used them to help keep a cabinet closed. Ended up having to use super glue to keep the stationary piece in place. Also it’s a little harder than I’d like to get the cabinet door open.

I purchased for a desk drawer that wouldn't stay shut. The location doesn't have space to screw in so I needed the adhesive. It worked well for 2 weeks then started falling off. I'm sure this would work well if you were screwing them in place.

I had a large drawer that held pots and pans that would not stay closed. I used one fastener set on one side of the drawer and it works perfectly. I thought I would have to use two sets because it was such a large drawer but the one did it with no problem.

We use this to keep our garbage drawer/cabinet closed as the tracks weren’t working. When it was used with just the adhesive, it didn’t stay stuck on, but once we screwed it into the unit, it has been working perfectly. Great device for the money and we would buy it again for other items.

Used on kitchen cabinet doors that are slighlty warped. Red side of double back tape was a PITA to remove and the tape did not hold. Had to use the screws, which needed a pilot hole. Bit had to go in as deep as the screw. 1st attempt stripped the cheap screw. Credit for providing an extra screw I suppose.

I used this to fox my center counsel on my truck. I broke the latch and I ain’t paying for an oem replacement. Holds up when the center counsel is lifted into a seat.

I stalled both sets on kitchen cabinets with the adhesive. One is still adhered with the adhesive. The other came lose so I had to use the screws. Both work great to keep my cabinets tightly closed. Would purchase more in the future if needed.

If you have a garbage pull-out cabinet, then you've probably experienced what I was--after the first year, it never wanted to full close. This gives just enough grip for it to stay shut. I used screws instead of the adhesive, mostly because this cabinet is used dozens of times a day. Quick to install that way. Happy to have the problem fixed.

These are great for closing wooden cabinet doors to wooden cabinet frames where you can secure the magnets with screws. But if the door is, say, thin plexiglas requiring the use of the double-sided tape that is supplied, the tape gets pulled off by the strength of the magnets -- not immediately, but after several times opening the door.

These magnets are extremely strong, and are doing an awesome job holding my cabinet door shut. The only problem I have had was that the adhesive option didn't work because of the strength of the magnet. After about a week one side pulled the other off, so if you need to be able to stick these on they may not work for you. We had to drill a hole and attach them.

The magnets work fine, but I will have to rely on the double side tape, as the screw heads broke off on half of the screw heads, when installing in fairly soft wood. For those who purchase these, I would recommend using higher quality screws.
