ideal for plastic model kit builders

20 Pcs Mini Micro Twist Drill Bits 0.5mm-3mm w/ Aluminum Hand Drill Keyless Chuck: This is an extremely useful tool for my model airplane kit building hobby. The hand driven drill is ideal for plastic where an electric one would melt it. Extra care is needed to hold the drill as close to perpendicular as possible. A careless wobble can break the bits, particularly the smaller diameter ones. Highly recommended for fellow hobbyists with steady hands.

Okay. micro drill I received is a mess.

Not completely happy with this purchase. I love the size of the bits but the micro drill that I received is a mess. The micro drill won't hold the bitsno matter how much we tighten it, eventually the bit either falls out or pushes up inside the micro drill. Considered asking for a refundbut I knew it was going to be a cheap and very low quality item when I ordered it, so guess I cannot complain too much.Give it a try if you must but do not be surprised if the quality is lower than you expect…

Container impossible to open!

The bits may be OK and the drill holder seems fair enough. Too bad the container seems to be glued shut, so there's no way to tell if the bits are any good, but I doubt it! I strongly recommend against buying Chinese-made-junk like this. I should have known better. Total waste of time. Returned for refund.

Ha, saw a couple reviews about the case. I was confused too until I realized it slides to the right to select the bit you want.That aside, they're good quality. Don't flex the bit too much (obviously.) Opposite of thicc, but to be expected. I broke 2 bits using it as a hand tool. But the tip unscrews and works great on my dremel!Use it to drill pcb boards. 4 stars since I have no luck using this kit as a twist drill, however, that could be my stupidity.

They are the dullest useless bits I've ever seen

These bits are AWFUL! They are the dullest useless bits I've ever seen. Look at the attached photo and you can see why, there is no edge at all to it. Just a sloppy rounded mess, and thats a brand new out of the package bit. Its lucky to drill through paper! The handle is so so, if you buy it buy for the handle the bits aren't worth anything. Also the case is nearly impossible to open. The detent that holds it closed is so stiff you have to pry it open with a screwdriver and hope it doesn't pop

Spend the money on a quality kit. Not this one!

Questionable quality. Half the drill bits were dull, one barely looked cut and one broke in half as soon as I took it out right where the threads end. The tip of another sheered off as soon as I tried to use it on very soft material.

Worked, so I bought a better set

As many have stated. the case SUCKS. hard to open, hard to slid, hard to use. just a bad production of a generally good idea. The tool broke the second time I used it and a couple of bits were more tiny rod than drill bit. Upon inspection with a magnifying glass, some of the flutes were incomplete or not existent. You do get a couple of each size so I was able to use this kit for the intended purpose and definitely see the benefit of having one. Which is why I bought another kit of much higher…
