I bought this just for fun thinking it was a toy but it's actually made of wood. It's tiny and easy to hide, and the sound quality is amazing. I was more than surprised when I played test recordings. If you're trying to be unobtrusive or just want to take notes or record meetings without having to tether your phone, then this is what you're looking for.

The first one worked great for about 1 week. Then he just stopped working. Not charged, not turned on, etc. When I came back I was drafted in to exchange for a new one. The second didn't work at all. And I skipped the window to return the second one, so now I have a useless $40 piece of junk that doesn't even work as a boat anchor. DO NOT BUY!

I used this call recorder in my office. My company has denied me reasonable terms (under the ADA) for 9 months. When I finally contacted HR, my boss hit back. Luckily I had a tape recorder up my sleeve and managed to catch him not only confessing but boasting that if I went back to HR he would deny it. Work. I also have a new manager ;-)

This is a good voice recorder, the quality is very good and small that you can carry in your shirt pocket and nobody will notice what you have. Why don't I give five runs because you have to create a file to set the date and time, if you don't do this it will be preset and the light when it's on won't be constant unless you read the instruction you don't read. I don't know if it works or not, other than that it's a great device to use day in, day out.

The voice recorder records great, the microphone is sensitive and easy to turn on and off. The device is hidden and unlabeled except for a gray dot above the button so you can tell if it's in capture mode. (When the gray dot is closed, the recording is in recording mode.) Auto save works fine. The only downside is that the date/time stamp doesn't show the correct time. I've followed the instructions to set the time text in the entry file, but the date and time are still not showing correctly…

Surprisingly small and easy to use. Actually TOO easy to activate. The button doesn't have a lock, so in my pocket it eventually turns on, giving me many hours of close-up shots of my keys. The switch must be spring-loaded, with a one-second hold function to start recording. Also note that it takes 5 seconds to start recording after you turn it on. I originally ordered this to remind myself of the material I collect when writing news articles for a local newsletter. It's easy to miss him as he's on my keychain and helps me even when there's an argument about what I wrote. Recordings are transferred to your computer as a .WAV file and you can rename and save them on your computer for personal and legal reasons. I Highly Recommend. We started sending our 1 and 2 year old daughters to a new nanny and after a few weeks noticed that our 1 year old daughter was misbehaving.
