Door panel replaced from the factory. Installation takes about an hour or so. With my Explorer, I didn't have to disassemble the entire console and dashboard. I just removed the bottom access panel and spacer and loosened 3 screws. It came out with a tug and the new one snapped into place and works.

Click-click-click without heating. A quick search on YouTube and I need a new temporary air door operator. Bought, fast delivery. Box opened and one of the three screw flange pieces had broken out of the box. I still installed it in less than 30 minutes and everything works as expected. It's all plastic, but it's a direct replacement for an OEM part. I am happy.
