Exact Replacement - Power Door Lock

Purchased for a '05 Toyota 4runner that no longer works. Easy accurate replacement. It took me probably 30 minutes. Just normalize your locks first before doing anything else and make sure that's not the problem.

Great for 4Runner

I have a 2004 4Runner and the tailgate has been stuck for a year. I was hesitant to get this part but was glad my husband was able to install it himself. It works great, just make sure you unplug the battery to reboot your system! Delivered as promised

SAVIOR! in Spare Parts

Probably one of the best purchases I've made in a long time! After two hours in the Florida heat trying to de-rust and lubricate my original actuator parts, I decided I just had to buy a new one. After removing the drive from the panel to clean it, I knew the installation would be very easy. It was sooo easy. It took me maybe 10 minutes. Works like a beautiful charm! Thank you for saving me a huge labor and parts bill at the dealer!

It works out. Sounds different than the original

The old tailgate latch on my 07 4 Runner has failed. I had to replace. This wasn't the most expensive available so I went with it to save a few bucks. The replacement was pretty easy, unscrew the belt assembly, unclip the door panel, all windows down. (Disconnect the negative battery cable! AFTER you twist it.) A few screws, a quick connect cable connector, and a cable routing latch are all you need to deal with. Easy exchange. Screw it back in place, replace the door panel, then lower the gate

Installed June 16th, came out June 29th.

Installed this actuator on June 16th (which was a complete construction problem and took hours) only to cease operations on June 29th. Buy a better drive as the setup is so awful.

Not useful to me.: Replacement parts

I finally took the door apart and this actuator didn't latch like it should. That does not fit. Bought for the left door of my wife's 2016 Chrysler T&C. It's a shame because I then had to order from the dealer at a much higher price. It's too late for a return!

This item is scrap for spare parts

Rubbish. The orange tab broke in the door when I touched it. There was no pressure, it broke immediately. I had to disassemble everything a second time, but I encountered a number of problems. If this item hadn't broke to begin with I wouldn't be in the situation I'm in and now I have to go to a dealer to have it fixed. Don't waste your money on this cheap product. The job of replacing this actuator is a huge task, I am talking about clocks. Buy something that won't break and flush out all theโ€ฆ
