Bought to replace the 2009 GMC Acadia cap, doesn't fit at all, won't screw in. It's just not done right compared to the OEM coverage.

DO NOT BUY! We confirmed that Revain fits and he said he does. We tried it and it doesn't fit! We will get it back as soon as possible! upset

I ended up paying about $300 to another mechanic to do some smoke testing only to find that this cap was low quality.

I bought these because I get the 'tighten gas cap' warning when going down steep hills. The old gas cap seemed loose and didn't seal well. This new lid fits snugly and snugly and there is some resistance when tightened so I think this will provide a good seal. Have to drive a few times to see if I've gotten the warning message issue resolved.
