I bought these because I get the 'tighten gas cap' warning when going down steep hills. The old gas cap seemed loose and didn't seal well. This new lid fits snugly and snugly and there is some resistance when tightened so I think this will provide a good seal. Have to drive a few times to see if I've gotten the warning message issue resolved.
